Savour
a glass of real ale by the open fire in the beamed bar
in winter, or sample some local cider in the Devon summer
sun in our beer garden.
For those with more than a drink and a chat in mind,
there is plenty on the menu to satisfy
your hunger and tempt your tastebuds.
The bar menu offers a selection of homemade favourites
such as lasagne, chilli and burgers
in addition to sandwiches and jacket potatoes, and is
available both lunchtimes and evenings.
For something hearty or more substantial, the evening
menu offers a range of dishes to suit
all tastes, such as Mushrooms in Devon Blue Cheese or
Homemade Soup of the Day as a starter, followed by local
Sausages and mash or Whole Baked Sea Bass as a main
course.
The menu is changed regularly, using fresh seasonal
food which is locally sourced where possible. Smaller
portions are available for children.
In true country style the Torridge Inn is more than
just another pub. Landlady Emma hosts a
full and varied calendar of events for those from near
and far.
